08:27 am - Mental insurance If I were ever to die young, I hope people would see the lighter, comedic side of it. I hope they would appreciate the irony of an obsessively health-conscious young man, a boy who refused to accept his own mortality, being struck by lightning or infected with SARS or hung for treason. As I wrote in here the other day, I certainly have no plans to die any time soon, or any time ever, but I figure that should the unthinkable happen, I'd like to leave people with my perspective on the whole matter, so that even if I don't live on, my thoughts will.
My mom's been out of town for work, but she comes back today. It will be nice to see her again. Maybe I'll be slightly less weird with someone around, though it has been good for me to have some alone time. Current Mood: weird Current Music: fuck the police- rage against the machine

The best thing is to write a eulogy and have a good friend sign a contract in blood stating that they will read it at your funeral no matter what. a friend of mine in high school and i signed mutual-eulogy reading pacts that have since expired. but the eulogies we wrote for one another were pretty amazing. ![[User Picture]](http://l-userpic.livejournal.com/30901858/4739037) | | From: | brianben |

Jonathan was a complicated man. He loved all beautiful living creatures, and sometimes the ugly ones. He had many wonderful brothers and sisters, and some parents. I don't really know about his friends. He could pass for a hobo or a learned man of science, depending on the quality of his shave.
Some might think it tragic that someone as young and healthy and good-looking as Jonny could die so unexpectedly; while I won't go into details, let me just say that there was a wading pool, and electric guitar and some B.C. Bud involved, and he died doing what he loved.
He will be missed, especially by his dog. |
